Course Structure

This Graduate Certificate consists of four graduate-level courses (12 credits) delivered in English at MUT Bangkok (Asoke) Learning Center. The curriculum integrates global marketing strategy, financial and managerial decision-making, data-informed leadership, and organizational development to build practical, globally oriented management competencies.

Global Marketing in a Digital Age

The course focuses on the quantitative analysis of complex issues related to the 4Ps, STP, consumer and competitor analysis through real-world business case studies, while developing critical thinking skills. The learners will be equipped with essential knowledge and practical skills to design, implement, and manage marketing across both global and local markets using data-driven tools

Accounting and Managing with Numbers

The course focuses on teaching how various transactions and elements (such as assets, liabilities, equity, revenue, and expenses) are reported in financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) both in the U.S. and internationally (IFRS). It covers company accounting for cash, accounts receivable, inventory, long-term assets, liabilities, equity, revenue,
cost of goods sold, depreciation, and other expenses, enhancing practical financial reporting skills.

Data Analytics and Digital Transformation in a Global World

One of the goals of the course is to develop students’ analytical thinking and statistical skills necessary for management decision-making in a global business environment. It also emphasizes ethical decision-making, effective communication, and adaptability to dynamically changing international situations.

Global Leadership and Personal Development

This module aims to expand student’s ability to collaborate with unfamiliar individuals, groups, organizations, and systems, while strengthening the leadership skills needed for success in a global
environment.

From Graduate Certificate to U.S. Master’s Degree

Through curriculum enriched via academic collaboration with ASU, the MUT Global Business and Leadership Certificate prepares students for progression to Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University. Upon successful completion and meeting ASU admission requirements, eligible credits may be transferred toward the Master of Leadership and Management (MLM) or Master of Global Management (MGM). Students then continue at Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University—online or through full campus immersion in the United States—graduating with both a Graduate Certificate from MUT and a master’s degree from Arizona State University.

Entry Requirements

Students who successfully complete the relevant MUT International Bridging Programs may be eligible to apply for progression to selected master’s degree programs offered by Arizona State University, including programs delivered by the Thunderbird School of Global Management and other participating ASU colleges, subject to meeting ASU’s admission and transfer requirements at the time of application.

Important: Eligibility for credit transfer is dependent on successful completion of the designated bridging courses and fulfillment of Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University’s transfer admission requirements. Applicants are advised to consult the official ASU website for the most current information.
