กรุงเทพมหานคร, ประเทศไทย – วันที่ 17 ตุลาคม 2568 – มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีมหานคร (MUT) ประกาศความร่วมมือเชิงกลยุทธ์กับ Arizona State University (ASU) มหาวิทยาลัยวิจัยชั้นนำของรัฐในสหรัฐอเมริกา ซึ่งได้รับการจัดอันดับให้เป็น มหาวิทยาลัยที่มีนวัตกรรมสูงสุดในสหรัฐอเมริกา 11 ปี ติดต่อกัน (2016–2026) โดย U.S. News & World Report ความร่วมมือนี้ทำให้ MUT ก้าวสู่การเป็นสถาบัน “Powered by ASU” และเข้าร่วมเป็นสมาชิกเครือข่าย ASU-Cintana Alliance เครือข่ายมหาวิทยาลัยระดับโลกที่ร่วมมือกันเพื่อขยายการเข้าถึงการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพระดับนานาชาติ
ASU ได้รับการจัดอันดับให้อยู่ใน 1% แรกของมหาวิทยาลัยโลก โดย Center for World University Rankings 2024 และได้รับการยอมรับด้านการจ้างงานบัณฑิต โดยอยู่ในอันดับที่ 2 ในบรรดามหาวิทยาลัยของสหรัฐฯ จากการจัดอันดับของ Global Employability University Ranking and Survey 2025
ความร่วมมือนี้สอดคล้องกับยุทธศาสตร์การอุดมศึกษาของประเทศไทย ที่มุ่งพัฒนากำลังคนที่มีทักษะสูง ส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต และบูรณาการวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรมเข้ากับนโยบายการศึกษา กระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (อว.) ได้ระบุถึงความจำเป็นในการพัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนรู้ที่ยืดหยุ่น เชื่อมโยงและผสมผสานความรู้จากหลายสาขาวิชา และเชื่อมโยงกับนานาชาติ เพื่อรองรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางประชากร การเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่ดิจิทัล และการแข่งขันทางเศรษฐกิจ
“ความร่วมมือครั้งนี้สะท้อนวิสัยทัศน์ในการพัฒนา MUT ให้เป็นศูนย์กลางการศึกษานวัตกรรมระดับโลก ที่สามารถสร้างทักษะอนาคตแก่นักศึกษาและบุคลากร”
รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ภานวีย์ โภไคยอุดม อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีมหานคร กล่าว เเละเสริมต่อว่า
“ด้วยโมเดล Powered by ASU เรากำลังเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาไทยได้เข้าถึงหลักสูตร คณาจารย์ และเทคโนโลยีการเรียนรู้ระดับโลก ซึ่งเท่ากับเป็นการเตรียมความพร้อมให้นักศึกษาไทยประสบความสำเร็จในโลกที่เชื่อมโยงถึงกันมากยิ่งขึ้น”

เเละกล่าวคำมั่นว่า
“เราจะร่วมกันมอบองค์ความรู้และการเรียนรู้ระดับโลกแก่นักศึกษาและบุคลากร ซึ่ง MUT เป็นส่วนสำคัญต่อการพัฒนาประเทศไทยด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี”
ในฐานะสถาบัน Powered by ASU นักศึกษา MUT จะได้รับประโยชน์จากหลักสูตรที่คัดสรรเเล้วโดย ASU การเรียนรู้จากคณาจารย์ผ่าน Masterclass การมีส่วนในโครงการวิจัยร่วม และการได้รับประกาศนียบัตรพิเศษของ ASU ระหว่างการศึกษา อีกทั้งยังสามารถเข้าถึงแหล่งเรียนรู้ออนไลน์และห้องเรียนเสมือนจริงของ ASU เพื่อเรียนรู้จากคณาจารย์และผู้เชี่ยวชาญระดับโลกโดยไม่ถูกจำกัดด้วยอุปสรรคของภูมิศาสตร์
นอกจากนี้ ความร่วมมือดังกล่าวยังเพิ่มโอกาสในการเคลื่อนย้ายนักศึกษาสู่เวทีนานาชาติ ผ่านโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนและ Immersion Programs และในอนาคตอันใกล้ นักศึกษา MUT จะสามารถศึกษาต่อที่ Arizona State University ได้ทั้งแบบออนไลน์ หรือที่วิทยาเขตในสหรัฐอเมริกา ผ่านโครงการ Pathways ที่ออกแบบมาโดยเฉพาะ เพื่อโอกาสในการรับปริญญาจาก ASU ซึ่งเป็นการจะมอบประสบการณ์การศึกษาระดับสากลอย่างแท้จริง นั่นหมายถึงนักศึกษา MUT จะมีวุฒิการศึกษาที่เป็นที่ยอมรับทั่วโลก และมีโอกาสทางอาชีพที่กว้างขวางยิ่งขึ้น
ความร่วมมือครั้งนี้ไม่ใช่เพียงข้อตกลงทางวิชาการ แต่ยังเป็นพันธสัญญาที่จะเปิดโอกาสใหม่แก่นักศึกษาไทย โดยขยายการเข้าถึงองค์ความรู้ ความเชี่ยวชาญ และประสบการณ์ในระดับสากล เพื่อเสริมสร้างทักษะ เครือข่ายมนุษย์ และมุมมองที่จำเป็นต่อการก้าวสู่ความสำเร็จในโลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว และเพื่อมีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาประเทศไทย ขณะเดียวกันยังทำให้การศึกษานักศึกษาไทยสามารถเข้าถึงระดับโลกด้วยต้นทุนที่เหมาะสม MUT เองก็ภาคภูมิใจที่ได้เข้าร่วมเป็นหนึ่งในสมาชิกใหม่ล่าสุดของเครือข่าย ASU-Cintana Alliance เครือข่ายมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำระดับโลกที่มุ่งสร้างอนาคตแห่งการศึกษา

BANGKOK, THAILAND — [October 17, 2025] — Mahanakorn University of Technology (MUT) has announced a strategic partnership with Arizona State University (ASU), a leading U.S. public research university ranked as the #1 Most Innovative University in the United States for eleven consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report (2016-2026) Through this partnership, MUT will become a “Powered by ASU” institution and a member of the ASU-Cintana Alliance, a global network of universities working together to increase access to high-quality, global education.
